Ursula Schliessler is a senior financial services and investment management professional, who has led global teams across multiple functional areas within asset management. Her experience spans sales strategy, change management, business process design and implementation, product development and management, operations, technology, data and risk management.
Prior to being appointed iNED at Asset Management One International and a Trustee for Starfish Greathearts Foundation, she was at Legg Mason Global Asset Management until June 2019. In her most recent position at Legg Mason Ursula was Chief Administrative Officer with global responsibility for the firm’s technology, data, risk management, insurance, internal audit, real estate, fund accounting and transfer agency departments, and the implementation of strategic projects. Prior to joining Legg Mason, Ursula Schliessler was with Citibank and Citigroup Asset Management in roles of increasing responsibility in a number of countries from 1984-2005 and worked to transition international product offerings to Legg Mason through December 2006. From 2007 to January 2009, she was head of international product development and management for Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
