Karim Hajjaji has extensive experience and expertise in the financial and banking industry and had held executive roles in Europe, Asia, and United States.
He is currently the global chief operating officer and member of the executive committee of Santander Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). Karim is also chairman or board member of different companies of the group. He is in charge to support the worldwide growth (products and geographies) of the CIB businesses and to contribute to its transformation.
Formerly, Karim was the deputy chief executive officer of Société Générale Investment Services covering brokerage, asset management, private banking and securities services. Previously he was chief financial officer and a member of the executive committee of SG Americas covering corporate and investment banking in the USA, Canada, and Latin America.
